‘Tiny Bubbles’ Unveiling Party

On Dec. 28th, 2005, Mrs. Carolyn Nash hosted an unveiling party celebrating the 36" x 48" portrait of her two granddaughters—Cali-age 9 and Hayli-age 4, at her beautiful home in Nashville, Tennessee.

For the evening’s festivities, the girls donned the same silk dresses worn in the portrait, and were given a bouquet of fresh flowers each for their role as stars of the evening. After Carolyn's announcement speech to her waiting guests, and a brief reading by me, the girls did the honors of removing the red velvet cloth from their portrait. The party was superb, and Carolyn didn't miss a thing with the care and detail she'd put into it—from the beautiful decorations and delicious food, to the full house of delightful guests. I'm amazed at her artistry in orchestrating this event--as for me, I'll stick to painting!

(Although our last names are the same, it is quite by co-incidence, as Carolyn Nash and I are not related.)
